Doesn't Not Compute

My log of experiences with GNU/Linux and computers in general.

SRWare Iron 4.0.275 beta for Linux

Iron is “based on the Chromium-source and offers the same features as Chrome – but [without the privacy concerns]”, as described on its website.

I  used an older version of this browser for about two weeks, and this one since mid-January, and I’m impressed. Sure, it doesn’t follow the GTK+ widget appearance by default, but who cares? It looks great as is. It’s stable, fast, and in my experience uses about the same amount of memory as Midori.

Best of all, this newest version has i586, i686, and x86-64 versions — meaning that it can run on pretty much anything from the Pentium II onwards. 😀
